The Rolling Stones are reopening the sessions behind their latest studio album, Foreign Tongues, with five additional recordings that bring Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and their bandmates back into the spotlight just months after the original release.
Announced Wednesday (October 14), Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips arrives November 27 through Capitol Records, expanding the band's 14-track July album into a 19-song collection. The deluxe release features previously unavailable material, a collaboration with British jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine and a duet between Jagger and Richards.
Rather than assembling remixes or alternate versions of familiar songs, the Stones have drawn from the same creative period that produced Foreign Tongues. The five recordings extend the album's original sessions, offering another look at the material the band developed during its latest studio chapter.
Among the additions is Who You Callin' Crazy, featuring Courtney Pine, whose involvement introduces a notable jazz connection to the expanded collection. The track is scheduled to arrive on digital platforms Friday, October 16, giving listeners an early introduction to the newly unveiled material.
Another centerpiece is Bad Luck Hideaway, which features shared lead vocals from Jagger and Richards. The recording originally appeared as a bonus track on the iTunes-exclusive edition of Foreign Tongues before receiving a wider digital release as the B-side to the streaming single Mr. Charm.
The remaining additions, Where There's A Will, Human Tide and She Still Comes Around, complete the five-song companion collection. Although the announcement does not provide individual descriptions of those recordings, their inclusion brings the material from the Foreign Tongues sessions into a broader commercial release.
The expanded edition follows a strong international showing for Foreign Tongues, which Capitol Records released July 10, 2026. According to the band's announcement, the album reached No. 1 in 14 countries, extending the Stones' commercial presence more than six decades into their recording career.
The original album also arrived less than three years after Hackney Diamonds, the band's Grammy-winning 2023 comeback album. That record marked their first studio collection of original material in 18 years and reestablished the group as an active recording force rather than simply a touring institution.
With Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips, the Stones are continuing that recording momentum, giving listeners additional material from a period that has already produced two studio albums since 2023.
Two physical editions are planned for November 27. The standalone vinyl package contains all five Loose Lips recordings pressed on heavyweight red vinyl, housed in a sleeve with matte and spot-gloss finishes and a die-cut center opening. It also includes the original 14-track Foreign Tongues album on CD in a separate card wallet.
On the vinyl edition, Side A contains Where There's A Will and Who You Callin' Crazy. Side B features Human Tide, Bad Luck Hideaway and She Still Comes Around.
The deluxe two-CD edition presents the original album on its first disc and the five additional recordings on its second. The package includes a six-panel digisleeve, a 16-page booklet and gold-foil detailing.
The original Foreign Tongues track sequence remains intact, beginning with Rough and Twisted and continuing through In The Stars, Jealous Lover, Mr. Charm, Divine Intervention, Ringing Hollow and Never Wanna Lose You.
The album's second half includes Hit Me In The Head, You Know I'm No Good, Some Of Us, Covered In You, Side Effects, Back In Your Life and closing track Beautiful Delilah.
Digital editions of Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips are also planned, although the announcement does not specify whether every digital platform will offer the same configuration as the physical releases.
Physical pre-orders are available through the band's official pre-order link.
The next release on the calendar is Who You Callin' Crazy on October 16, followed by the complete deluxe collection November 27. For a band whose catalog has been revisited through countless archival editions, this release draws its additional material from a recording period that is still unfolding.
