Hot on the heels of a powerful guest appearance on Hotel Garuda’s dance floor blazer “Fixed On You,” as well as their own indie smash “Your Girl” (Hit #2 on HypeM twice, and Win & Woo’s recent remix of the song went #1) Violet Days has returned with another stunner, this one called “OD On You.” This destined-to-blow-up song showcases singer Lina Hansson’s soaring vocals and poignant songwriting perfectly complimenting Kris Eriksson´s sophisticated production.
Lina explains: “’OD On You’ is about the feeling when you bump into a love from the past and you can´t deny the chemistry so you fall back again, even if you know it´s gonna hurt..and you do that over and over again..”
Giving a familiar nod to the past for inspiration – the name Violet Days is a nod to Lina’s grandmother – Violet Days continues her inevitable ascent with the release of “OD On You,” continuing to grace us with music that not only makes us dance, but makes us FEEL.
