Lilly Palmer and Caroline Roxy are turning the idea of music as a shared language into something built for the dancefloor.
The electronic artists have released “Unite The Universe,” a new collaboration out now through Astralwerks, Island Berlin and UMG Germany. The track brings Palmer's forceful techno production together with Roxy's experience as a vocalist, songwriter, producer and DJ.
The song is built around a straightforward premise: music can create connection without requiring much explanation. Palmer and Roxy frame that idea through electronic production designed for communal spaces, where rhythm, vocals and physical movement do most of the talking.
“Caroline Roxy's vocals hit me instantly. There's a force to them that felt made for this track,” Palmer said in the release announcement. “I can't wait for ‘Unite The Universe’ to finally be out in the world!”
For Palmer, the collaboration arrives amid a career that has carried her well beyond the Zurich underground scene where she first began building an audience. Her sound has become associated with driving rhythms, darker melodic passages and heavy bass, leading to bookings across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia.
Her reach has also expanded substantially online. According to her team, Palmer's content has generated more than 56 million views and over one million interactions, while individual Reels have reached as many as 127 million organic views. She also draws more than 1.2 million monthly listeners across streaming platforms.
Roxy brings a different path into the collaboration. Raised in Borås, Sweden, she began with piano and singing before moving behind the decks and eventually into production, where she began combining electronic music with her own vocals.
Her debut single was selected as the official anthem of Summerburst Festival in 2018, where she also performed on the main stage. Since then, she has continued appearing at clubs and festivals across Europe while incorporating her own tracks into her live sets.
Roxy's 2026 run has included collaborations with Armin van Buuren, Maddix, Hannah Laing, Marlon Hoffstadt and BEAUZ. Her music has also received support from artists including Tiësto, Eli Brown, KI/KI, Hardwell and Oliver Heldens.
On “Unite The Universe,” those two trajectories meet without either artist disappearing into the other's sound. Palmer supplies the track's techno pressure while Roxy's vocal presence gives the record its emotional center and reinforces its message of freedom, presence and connection.
The result is less about treating unity as an abstract slogan and more about translating it into the kind of record meant to work in real time, in front of people, at volume.
